松本峠
松本峠の登り口は、心なしか整備されているように感じました。歩き出してすぐにすれ違うグループがいました。この峠は、独りぼっちではなさそうです。木漏れ日の中、訪れる前にイメージしていた熊野古道が目の前に出現しました。
道端のまん丸石
石畳も石段も、そしてその回りに転がる丸っこい形をした石も、みんな苔むしています。紀伊半島南部の尾鷲あたりは非常に雨が多いエリアで、今歩いているあたりも豊富な雨量のおかげで豊かな木々と、苔むした石を育んでいることを改めて実感しました。
まん丸石
苔むしたまん丸石を写真にとりながら登っていると、木だけではなく竹が目立つようになってきます。峠に近づくと中学生たちと、クラスごとに地元ガイドらしき人たちに先導されながらすれ違いました。
青い海と緑の山
峠から展望台の方に歩いていくと、そこにも先客の中学生たちが海岸線を見下ろしながらガイドさんの説明を聞いていました。この景色を見ると登ってきた疲れも忘れてしいます。青い海と緑の山だけのシンプルな世界ですが、実に愛おしく感じます。
下りも苔むした石畳や石段を歩きました。下りきると少し歩いて海岸沿いにまで出ました。そこからはビーチ沿いに花の窟屋神社まで歩いていくことにします。山と海を両方楽しめるのも伊勢路の魅力の一つかもしれません。（つづく）
伊勢路を歩く際に役立つ本
一人で歩くとなると地図だけでなく、詳細なランドマークが記載されたルートマップがあると心強いです。東海道、中山道でも同シリーズを出版している山と渓谷社のマップを今回持参しました。

Matsumoto Pass
The ascent of the Matsumoto Pass seemed to be well maintained. As soon as I started walking, I saw a group of people passing me. It seems that I am not alone in this pass. In the sunshine through the trees, the Kumano Kodo that I had imagined before visiting appeared before my eyes.
Round sahped stone on a roadside
The cobblestones, the stone steps, and the round stones lying around are all covered in moss. The area around Owase in the southern part of the Kii Peninsula is a very rainy area, and I was reminded that the abundant rainfall in the area where I am walking now has nurtured a rich variety of trees and mossy stones.
As I climbed up the mountain, taking pictures of the mossy round shaped stones, bamboo as well as trees became more prominent. As I approached the mountain pass, I passed a group of junior high school students, each class led by whom looked like a local guide.
Blue sea and green mountains
As I walked from the pass to the observatory, I saw a group of junior high school students looking down at the coastline and listening to the guide’s explanation. This view made me forget how tired I was from the climb. It’s a simple world of blue sea and green mountains, but it’s really wonderful.
On the way down, I walked along mossy stone pavements and stone steps. After the descent, I walked a little further and reached the beach. From there, I decided to walk along the beach to Hananoiwaya Shrine. Perhaps one of the charms of the Ise Road is that you can enjoy both the mountains and the sea. (to be continued)

Le col de Matsumoto
L’ascension du col de Matsumoto semblait bien entretenue. Dès que j’ai commencé à marcher, j’ai vu un groupe de personnes me dépasser. Il semble que je ne sois pas seul dans ce col. Dans le soleil traversant les arbres, le Kumano Kodo que j’avais imaginé avant de le visiter est apparu devant mes yeux.
Pierre ronde sahpée sur le bord d’une route
Les pavés, les marches en pierre et les pierres rondes qui traînent sont tous couverts de mousse. La région d’Owase, dans la partie sud de la péninsule de Kii, est une région très pluvieuse, et je me suis rappelé que les pluies abondantes dans la région où je me promène maintenant ont nourri une riche variété d’arbres et de pierres moussues.
Au fur et à mesure que je gravissais la montagne, je prenais des photos des pierres rondes et moussues, des bambous et des arbres. En approchant du col de la montagne, j’ai croisé un groupe de collégiens, chaque classe étant dirigée par un guide local.
Mer bleue et montagnes vertes
En marchant du col vers l’observatoire, j’ai vu un groupe de collégiens qui regardaient le littoral et écoutaient les explications du guide. Cette vue m’a fait oublier à quel point j’étais fatigué par la montée. C’est un monde simple de mer bleue et de montagnes vertes, mais c’est vraiment merveilleux.
En descendant, j’ai marché sur des trottoirs en pierre moussue et des marches en pierre. Après la descente, j’ai marché un peu plus loin et j’ai atteint la plage. De là, j’ai décidé de marcher le long de la plage jusqu’au sanctuaire Hananoiwaya. L’un des charmes de la route d’Ise est peut-être de pouvoir profiter à la fois de la montagne et de la mer.
