幕末に会津藩が本陣を構えたお寺
法然上人が43歳の時、比叡山での修行を終えて最初の念仏道場を開かれた場所が、くろ谷の地で、そこに建つのが今回訪れた金戒光明寺。幕末、京都守護職に任ぜられた会津藩主 松平容保が本陣を構えたのも、くろ谷で、新選組のドラマの撮影場所でもあります。
浄土教の教えがここから始まった
京都市中を見下ろせる場所にあるので、緊急出動には都合の良い場所と思います。下から山門に上がってくると、後小松上皇宸筆の「浄土真宗最初門」の勅額が見えます。法然上人が開かれた浄土教の教えがここから始まったことを示しています。
五劫思惟阿弥陀仏
御影堂でお参りをすませた後、本日の目的である仏様に会うために墓地の方に向かいます。ここには五劫思惟（ごこうしゆい）阿弥陀仏の石造が鎮座されています。この阿弥陀様は通常の阿弥陀様と違い、非常に大きな螺髪（頭髪）が特徴で、初めて写真で見た時はビックリしました。その時以来、一度この目で見てみたいと思っていました。
劫というのは時間の長さで、一劫とは40里（約160km）立法の大きな岩に、天女が3年に一度舞い降りて羽衣で撫で、その岩が無くなるまでの時間だそうで、五劫とはその5倍の時間ですから、如何に気の遠くなるような時間の間、思惟されたことでしょうか。
記念にいい写真を撮ろうとしましたが、墓地の中にあるので、右も左も、上も下も墓石です。なんとか、阿弥陀様だけを写したのがこの一枚です。物事を深く、長く考えるとアフロヘア―になると考えた昔の人の想像力はすごいと感じました。（完）

Konkai Komyoji Temple (English)
The temple where the Aizu clan set up its headquarters at the end of the Edo period.
At the age of 43, Buddhist monk Honen opened his first Nembutsu dojo (Training center for chanting sutra ) in Kurodani after completing his ascetic training at Mount Hiei, where we visited Konkai Komyoji Temple. At the end of the Edo period, Matsudaira Katamori, the lord of the Aizu domain who was appointed as the protector of Kyoto, set up his headquarters in Kurodani, which is also where the Shinsengumi drama was filmed.
This is where the teachings of Pure Land Buddhism began.
Since it overlooks the whole city of Kyoto, I think it is a convenient place for emergency dispatch. As you come up to the gate from below, you can see the Imperial inscription “The First Gate of Jodo Shinshu” written by Emperor Go-Komatsu. This indicates that the teachings of the Jodo sect, founded by Buddhist monk Honen, began here.
Amitabha having five kalpa of thought
After paying my respect at the Mieido, I headed towards the cemetery to meet the Buddha, my goal for the day. Here sits the stone structure of the Amitabha Buddha. This Amitabha is different from the usual Amitabha, with a very large head of hair, which surprised me when I first saw it in a photo, and ever since then I have wanted to see it with my own eyes.
One kalpa is the length of time it takes for a celestial maiden to descend once every three years and stroke a large rock 40 ri (about 160 km) in length with her feathered robe until the rock disappears. Five kalpas is five times as long as that, so how must he have pondered for such a dizzying amount of time?
I tried to take a good photo as a memorial, but it was in a cemetery, so there were gravestones on both the left and right, above and below. I managed to capture only Amitabha in this one photo. I was amazed at the imagination of the old people who thought that if you think deeply and long enough, you will end up with such wonderful hair.
Temple Konkai Komyoji (Français)
Le temple où le clan Aizu a établi son quartier général à la fin de la période Edo.
À l’âge de 43 ans, le moine bouddhiste Honen a ouvert son premier dojo Nembutsu (centre d’entraînement à la récitation de sutras) à Kurodani après avoir terminé sa formation ascétique au mont Hiei, où nous avons visité le temple Konkai Komyoji. À la fin de la période Edo, Matsudaira Katamori, le seigneur du domaine d’Aizu qui a été nommé protecteur de Kyoto, a établi son quartier général à Kurodani, qui est également le lieu de tournage du drame du Shinsengumi.
C’est là que les enseignements du bouddhisme de la Terre Pure ont commencé.
Comme elle surplombe toute la ville de Kyoto, je pense que c’est un endroit pratique pour l’envoi de secours. Lorsque vous arrivez à la porte par le bas, vous pouvez voir l’inscription impériale “La première porte du Jodo Shinshu” écrite par l’empereur Go-Komatsu. Cela indique que les enseignements de la secte Jodo, fondée par le moine bouddhiste Honen, ont commencé ici.
Amitabha a cinq kalpa de pensée.
Après avoir présenté mes respects au Mieido, je me suis dirigé vers le cimetière pour rencontrer le Bouddha, mon objectif du jour. Ici se trouve la structure en pierre du Bouddha Amitabha. Cet Amitabha est différent de l’Amitabha habituel, avec une très grande chevelure, ce qui m’a surpris lorsque je l’ai vu pour la première fois sur une photo, et depuis, j’ai voulu le voir de mes propres yeux.
Un kalpa est le temps qu’il faut à une jeune fille céleste pour descendre une fois tous les trois ans et caresser un grand rocher de 40 ri (environ 160 km) de long avec sa robe à plumes jusqu’à ce que le rocher disparaisse. Cinq kalpas sont cinq fois plus longs que cela, alors comment a-t-il pu réfléchir pendant un temps aussi vertigineux ?
J’ai essayé de prendre une bonne photo en souvenir, mais c’était dans un cimetière, donc il y avait des pierres tombales à gauche et à droite, au-dessus et au-dessous. J’ai réussi à ne capturer qu’Amitabha sur cette seule photo. J’ai été étonné par l’imagination des personnes âgées qui pensaient que si l’on réfléchit profondément et assez longtemps, on finira par avoir des cheveux aussi merveilleux.
