安倍晴明をお祀りした神社
陰陽師と言えば、安倍晴明しか名前が出てこない人は多いと思います。私もその一人で、実際に何をした人なのかも知りません。そんな晴明が祀られているのが京都にある晴明神社。堀川通に面して一の鳥居が立っており、額には社紋の「晴明桔梗」が掲げられています。
旧一条戻り橋と式神
ここをくぐると、旧一條戻橋があり、その左横に清明が使っていたという式神の石像が居ます。平安時代は物の怪や魑魅魍魎が跋扈していた時代。戻橋の上でも人が生き返ったり、鬼が退治されたりと、逸話が絶えません。
いよいよ境内へ
二の鳥居を超えて、いよいよ本殿に向かって歩きます。まず、お参りをした後、左側に鎮座している晴明の像にもご挨拶しました。右側には厄除桃と呼ばれる桃の像があり、自身の厄をこの桃に撫でつけることで、厄除けできるそうです。
授与所は普通の神社とは雰囲気が少し違っていて、若い女性が何人か五芒星のデザインが施されたお守りや魔除けステッカーを選んでいました。私も五芒星のついた小さなクリアファイルを1枚購入しました。
現在の一条戻り橋
神社を後にし、御所に向かう際に、現在の一条戻橋を通ることにしました。今はアスファルトの敷かれた、どこにでも見かける普通の橋が架かっているだけです。何か感じるかと思って渡りましたが、1000年も経つと魔物も鬼も消滅してしまっているようです。（完）

Seimei Shrine in Kyoto (English)
Shrine dedicated to Abe-no-Seimei.
When it comes to Onmyoji, I think there are many people who can imagine only one name of Abe-no-Seimei in the mind. I am one of them, and I don’t even know what he actually did. Seimei is enshrined at the Seimei Shrine in Kyoto. The first torii gate stands facing Horikawa Dori, and the shrine crest “Seimei Kikyo (Chinese bellflower)” is displayed on its frame.
Old Ichijo Return Bridge and Shikigami
As you pass through here, you will see the old Ichijo Modoribashi Bridge, and to the left of it is a stone statue of a Shikigami deity used by Seimei. In the Heian period (794-1185), monsters and vengeful spirits of mountains and rivers were all over the place. There are many ancient stories about people being brought back to life and demons being vanquished on the bridge.
Finally, I went into the precincts.
After crossing the second torii gate, I finally walked towards the main shrine. After paying my respects to the shrine, I also greeted the statue of Seimei sitting on the left. On the right side, there is a statue of a peach called “Yakuyoke Momo” (Peach to ward off bad luck).
The awarding station had a slightly different atmosphere than that of a normal shrine, with several groups of young women choosing charms and stickers with pentagram designs to ward off evil. I also bought a small clear file with a pentagram design on it.
The current Ichijo Return Bridge
As I left the shrine and headed for the Imperial Palace, I decided to go through what is now the Ichijo Modoribashi Bridge. Now it was just an ordinary asphalt bridge that you see everywhere. I crossed it to see if I could feel anything spiritual, but it seems that after a thousand years, the demons and devils have disappeared completely.
Sanctuaire de Seimei à Kyoto (Français)
Sanctuaire dédié à Abe-no-Seimei.
Quand il s’agit d’Onmyoji, je pense qu’il y a beaucoup de gens qui ne peuvent imaginer qu’un seul nom d’Abe-no-Seimei dans leur esprit. Je suis l’un d’entre eux, et je ne sais même pas ce qu’il a réellement fait. Seimei est enterré au sanctuaire de Seimei à Kyoto. La première porte torii se dresse face à Horikawa Dori, et le blason du sanctuaire “Seimei Kikyo (campanule chinoise)” est affiché sur son cadre.
Ancien pont de retour Ichijo et Shikigami
En passant par ici, vous verrez l’ancien pont Ichijo Modoribashi, et à sa gauche, une statue en pierre d’une divinité Shikigami utilisée par Seimei. Durant la période Heian (794-1185), les monstres et les esprits vengeurs des montagnes et des rivières étaient omniprésents. De nombreuses histoires anciennes racontent que des personnes ont été ramenées à la vie et que des démons ont été vaincus sur le pont.
Finalement, je suis allé dans les bureaux de vote.
Après avoir franchi la deuxième porte torii, je me suis finalement dirigé vers le sanctuaire principal. Après avoir présenté mes respects au sanctuaire, j’ai salué la statue de Seimei assise sur la gauche. Sur le côté droit, il y a une statue d’une pêche appelée “Yakuyoke Momo” (Pêche pour éloigner la malchance).
La station de remise des prix avait une atmosphère légèrement différente de celle d’un sanctuaire normal, avec plusieurs groupes de jeunes femmes choisissant des charmes et des autocollants avec des motifs de pentagrammes pour éloigner le mal. J’ai également acheté un petit dossier transparent avec un motif de pentagramme.
L’actuel pont de retour Ichijo
En quittant le sanctuaire et en me dirigeant vers le Palais impérial, j’ai décidé de passer par ce qui est maintenant le pont Ichijo Modoribashi. Maintenant, c’était juste un pont ordinaire en asphalte que l’on voit partout. Je l’ai traversé pour voir si je pouvais ressentir quelque chose de spirituel, mais il semble qu’après mille ans, les démons et les diables aient complètement disparu.
