招待券をいただきました
三十三間堂で知られる蓮華王院の道路を挟んだ向かいにある京都国立博物館。近くには豊国神社や智積院もあり、博物館の訪問だけではもったいないロケーションです。ありがたいことに、時々企画展の招待券をいただくことがあり、可能なかぎり見に出かけることにしています。南門入口を入ると、一直線に伸びる歩道の突き当りに真新しい平成知新館が見えます。企画展は、この平成知新館で行われるので、こちらを訪問します。
赤煉瓦の明治古都館
歩いていると右手に明治古都館が見えます。赤煉瓦の壁面が美しい、近代建築です。当方の職場の事務所に近い、大阪の中の島にも赤煉瓦づくりの中之島公会堂がありますが、こちらの方が、横幅が広いせいか、より一層、豪華な感じがします。
昨年、西国三十三所を特集した企画展に行きました。ちょうど、当方も西国三十三所巡礼を終了したところだったので、展示物全てに愛着を感じました。お寺訪問時に出会っていない、細かくきれいな字で書かれたお経を見ると、当時の僧たちが心を込めて写経した様子が頭に浮かびました。
やっと会えた鑑真和上の像
今年は、鑑真和上の像を拝観しに行きました。唐招提寺のブログでも書きましたが、通常、唐招提寺では、身代わりの鑑真和上像をガラス越しに拝観できるだけです。まだ、一度も天平時代に造られた本物の像を見たことがありませんでした。
唐招提寺でも、年に何回かは見られるのですが、博物館で拝観するときの利点は、さまざまな角度から像を見られることです。柔らかい表情は、和上の生き写しかと思えるほど、生命の息吹を感じてしまいます。やっと、お会いできたことに感激がこみあげてきました。（完）
National Museum of Kyoto (English)
I got an invitation ticket.
The National Museum of Kyoto is located across the road from Rengeo-in Temple, known for its Sanjusangendo Hall. There are also Toyokuni Shrine and Chishakuin Temple nearby, so it would be better to visit both the museum and the shrine (or the temple). Thankfully, I sometimes receive invitation tickets to special exhibitions, and I try to visit them whenever I can. As you enter the south gate, you will see the brand new Heisei-Chishin-kan building at the end of a straight walkway. The special exhibition is held in this Heisei-Chishin-Kan, so I visit this building.
Red-brick Meiji-Koto-Kan Building
As you walk, you will see the Meij-Koto-Kan building on your right. It is a modern building with beautiful red brick walls. There is also a red-brick Nakanoshima Public Hall in Nakanoshima, Osaka, which is close to our office, but this one looks even more gorgeous because of its wider width.
Last year, I went to a special exhibition featuring the 33 temples of Western Japan. As I had just completed my pilgrimage to the 33 temples of Western Japan, I felt attached to all the exhibits. When I saw the sutras written in fine and beautiful handwriting, which I had not encountered when visiting the temples, I could imagine how the monks of those days put their hearts into copying the sutras.
Finally I met the statue of Monk Jianzhen.
This year, I went to see the statue of Monk Jianzhen. As I wrote in my blog on Toshodaiji Temple, usually at Toshodaiji Temple, you can only see the substitute statue of Monk Jianzhen through glass. I had never yet seen a real statue made in the Tenpyo period.
You can see the statue several times a year at Toshodaiji Temple, but the advantage of visiting the museum is that you can see it from different angles. The soft expression on his face is so lifelike that you can almost feel the breath of life in it. I was so thrilled to have finally met him. (End)
Musée national de Kyoto (Français)
J’ai reçu un billet d’invitation.
Le Musée national de Kyoto est situé en face du temple Rengeo-in, connu pour sa salle Sanjusangendo. Il y a également le sanctuaire Toyokuni et le temple Chishakuin à proximité, il serait donc préférable de visiter à la fois le musée et le sanctuaire (ou le temple). Heureusement, je reçois parfois des billets d’invitation pour des expositions spéciales, et j’essaie de les visiter dès que je le peux. En entrant par la porte sud, vous verrez le tout nouveau bâtiment Heisei-Chishin-kan au bout d’une allée droite. L’exposition spéciale se tient dans ce Heisei-Chishin-Kan, et je visite donc ce bâtiment.
Bâtiment Meiji-Koto-Kan en briques rouges
En marchant, vous verrez le bâtiment Meij-Koto-Kan sur votre droite. Il s’agit d’un bâtiment moderne avec de beaux murs en briques rouges. Il existe également un Nakanoshima Public Hall en briques rouges à Nakanoshima, Osaka, qui est proche de notre bureau, mais celui-ci est encore plus beau en raison de sa plus grande largeur.
L’année dernière, j’ai visité une exposition spéciale sur les 33 temples du Japon occidental. Comme je venais de terminer mon pèlerinage dans les 33 temples du Japon occidental, je me suis sentie attachée à toutes les pièces exposées. Lorsque j’ai vu les sutras écrits dans une belle et fine écriture, que je n’avais pas rencontrée en visitant les temples, j’ai pu imaginer comment les moines de l’époque s’investissaient pour copier les sutras.
Enfin, j’ai rencontré la statue du moine Jianzhen.
Cette année, je suis allé voir la statue du moine Jianzhen. Comme je l’ai écrit dans mon blog sur le temple Toshodaiji, habituellement au temple Toshodaiji, on ne peut voir la statue de substitution du moine Jianzhen qu’à travers une vitre. Je n’avais encore jamais vu une vraie statue fabriquée à l’époque de Tenpyo.
Vous pouvez voir la statue plusieurs fois par an au temple Toshodaiji, mais l’avantage de visiter le musée est que vous pouvez la voir sous différents angles. L’expression douce de son visage est si réaliste que l’on peut presque sentir le souffle de la vie en lui. J’étais si heureuse de l’avoir enfin rencontré. (Fin)
