廣田神社

天照大神の荒魂を祀った神社

ここも神仏霊場会の公式ガイドブックで知った神社です。歴史は古く201年の創建と伝わっています。神功皇后が、三韓出兵から戻る時、神託にしたがって天照大神の荒魂を祀ったのが、この廣田神社だそうです。

参道で2本の注連縄をくぐる

訪問当日は快晴で、太陽光の反射により、境内の石の白さがさらに白く輝いていました。一の鳥居をくぐると、次に、注連縄を２本くぐります。徐々に俗界を離れ、神々の世界に近づいていく演出がなされています。

参道を突きあたると、右に折れて本堂に向かいます。石段を登ったところに大きな拝殿が見えています。銅板の屋根が薄青く輝いています。この神社、初めて来たのですが、どことなく見覚えがあります。最初は気づかなかったのですが、絵馬を掛けるところに来てわかりました。

阪神タイガースの必勝祈願の神社

この神社は荒魂を祀る勝運の神として、武家から篤い尊崇を受けていたそうです。そして、現代では、阪神タイガースの監督や選手が、毎年シーズン開幕前に、「必勝祈願」に訪れる神社だそうです。おそらく、テレビで何度も阪神の選手がお参りするシーンを見ていて、無意識の内に、拝殿の様子を記憶していたのかも知れません。

先ほど右折した参道の突き当りを左側に行くと、青石のように見える大きな石が、いくつも転がっていました。石組で何らかの造形を造り出しているのか、単に置いているだけなのか判別できませんでしたが、白砂だけがあるよりも、落ち着いた雰囲気を感じました。（完）

Hirota Shrine (English)

Shrine dedicated to the Rough Spirit of Amaterasu

This is another shrine that I learned about from the official guidebook of the Shinto and Buddhist Sacred Sites Association. It has a long history and is said to have been built in 201. It is said that Empress Jingu enshrined Amaterasu’s rough spirit at Hirota Shrine when she returned from her military expedition to the Three Hans, following an oracle.

Passing through two “Shimenawa” ropes on the approach to the shrine

The day of my visit was sunny, and the reflection of the sunlight made the white of the stones in the precincts shine even whiter. After passing through the first torii gate, I next passed through two Shimenawa (sacred straw ropes). Gradually, I left the mundane world behind and approach the world of the gods.

At the end of the path, turn right and head for the main hall. The large hall of worship can be seen at the top of the stone steps. The copper roof shines in a pale blue. This was my first visit to this shrine, but it looked vaguely familiar. I didn’t notice it at first, but when I came to the place to hang an ema (votive picture tablet), I understood.

The Hanshin Tigers’ Shrine of Prayer for Victory

It is said that this shrine was highly revered by the samurai family as a god of victory that enshrines the rough spirit of Amaterasu. And in modern times, it is a shrine that the manager and players of the Hanshin Tigers visit every year before the start of the season to “pray for victory”. Perhaps I unconsciously remembered the appearance of the shrine because I had seen the scene of the Hanshin Tigers players visiting the shrine many times on TV.

At the end of the approach to the temple where I had just turned right, to the left, I saw a number of large stones that looked like blue stones lying on the ground. I couldn’t tell if the stones were used to create some kind of shape or if they were just placed there, but I felt a more relaxed atmosphere than if there were only white sand. (End)

Sanctuaire Hirota (français)

Sanctuaire dédié à l’esprit rude d’Amaterasu

C’est un autre sanctuaire dont j’ai entendu parler dans le guide officiel de l’Association des sites sacrés shinto et bouddhistes. Il a une longue histoire et on dit qu’il a été construit en 201. On raconte que l’impératrice Jingu a enchâssé le rude esprit d’Amaterasu dans le sanctuaire Hirota lorsqu’elle est revenue de son expédition militaire aux Trois Hans, suite à un oracle.

Passage de deux cordes “Shimenawa” à l’approche du sanctuaire.

Le jour de ma visite était ensoleillé, et le reflet de la lumière du soleil faisait briller le blanc des pierres de l’enceinte encore plus blanc. Après avoir franchi la première porte en forme de torii, je suis passé par deux Shimenawa (cordes de paille sacrées). Peu à peu, j’ai quitté le monde terrestre pour m’approcher du monde des dieux.

Au bout du chemin, tournez à droite et dirigez-vous vers la salle principale. La grande salle de culte est visible en haut des marches en pierre. Le toit en cuivre brille d’un bleu pâle. C’était ma première visite dans ce sanctuaire, mais il me semblait vaguement familier. Je ne l’ai pas remarqué au début, mais quand je suis arrivé à l’endroit où l’on accroche un ema (tablette à images votives), j’ai compris.

Le sanctuaire de prière pour la victoire des Tigres de Hanshin

On dit que ce sanctuaire était très vénéré par la famille des samouraïs en tant que dieu de la victoire qui consacre l’esprit rude d’Amaterasu. Et à l’époque moderne, c’est un sanctuaire que le manager et les joueurs des Hanshin Tigers visitent chaque année avant le début de la saison pour “prier pour la victoire”. Peut-être me suis-je inconsciemment souvenu de l’aspect du sanctuaire parce que j’avais vu la scène des joueurs des Hanshin Tigers visitant le sanctuaire à plusieurs reprises à la télévision.

Au bout de l’approche du temple, là où je venais de tourner à droite, sur la gauche, j’ai vu un certain nombre de grandes pierres qui ressemblaient à des pierres bleues posées sur le sol. Je n’ai pas pu dire si les pierres étaient utilisées pour créer une sorte de forme ou si elles étaient simplement placées là, mais j’ai ressenti une atmosphère plus détendue que s’il n’y avait que du sable blanc.
