五木寛之 著「百寺巡礼 第六巻 関西」 講談社文庫
既に第一巻 奈良編、第三巻と第九巻の京都編を読みましたが、大阪、兵庫、和歌山のお寺を訪問する関西編も読んでみました。紹介されているのは10寺院で、高野山、青岸渡寺、道成寺、粉河寺、観心寺、弘川寺、鶴林寺、亀山本徳寺、大念佛寺、四天王寺。
高野山は小中学校の行事で行きましたし、青岸渡寺と粉河寺は西国三十三所、道成寺、観心寺、鶴林寺、四天王寺は新西国三十三所を巡る時に訪問していました。作家さんとは見方、感じ方が異なるのですが、自分にとってもそれぞれ思い出深いお寺です。
この巻を読んで早速出かけたのは大念佛寺です。大阪市平野区にあることを知り、事務所から奈良に行く際にJR線で途中下車すれば行けるので、機会を見て出かけることにしました。五木さんが紹介されていた宗祖・良忍像も見てきました。本堂ではなく小さなお堂にポツンと安置されています。のどかなお寺なのですが、最近は仏像の窃盗も多いと聞くので少し心配です。
大念佛寺では、大阪のいくつかのお寺とデジタル・スタンプラリーを行なっていました。各お寺でポスターに書いてあるパスワードをアプリに入力すると、そこのデジタル御朱印がいただける仕組みです。ただ、そこに行かなくてもパスワードさえ知っていれば、入手可能になるので、GPSでの位置確認は必要だなと思いました。
もう一つ、この本のお寺で訪問したのは弘川寺という西行の終焉の地となったお寺です。そちら方面にある大学に出張した際に、少し足を延ばして行ってきました。以前、日本で学ぶ留学生達を伊勢神宮に案内したことがあります。その際に、伊勢神宮に対して、日本人が感じている思いの例として、西行の歌と伝えられる、「なにごとの おはしますをば しらねども かたじけなさに なみだこぼるる」の英訳をインターネットで見つけて、紹介したことがあります。
以来、西行さんのこの歌がとても好きになり、講義の時にもよく使わせていただいています。本人の作かどうかは不明ですが、お塚に手を合わせ、日頃の感謝の気持ちを伝えてきました。（完）

”A Pilgrimage to One Hundred Temples, Volume 6: Kansai” by Hiroyuki Itsuki, Kodansha Bunko
I have already read the first volume, Nara chapter, and the third and ninth volumes, Kyoto chapter, but I also read the Kansai chapter, which visits temples in Osaka, Hyogo and Wakayama. Ten temples are introduced: Koyasan, Seigantoji, Dojoji, Kokawadera, Kanshinji, Hirokawadera, Kakurinji, KameYama Hontokuji, Dainenbutsuji, and Shitennoji.
After reading this volume, I immediately went out to visit Dainenbutsu-ji Temple. I found out that it was located in Hirano-ku, Osaka City, and since I could get there by getting off at the JR line on my way to Nara from my office, I decided to take the opportunity to go there. I also saw the statue of Ryonin, the founder of the sect, which Mr. Itsuki had introduced to me. The statue is not in the main hall but in a small hall. It is a peaceful temple, but I am a little worried because I heard that there are many thefts of Buddhist statues these days.
I went to Koyasan for an elementary and junior high school event, Seigantoji Temple and Kokawadera Temple for the 33 sacred sites in the western Japan, and Dojoji Temple, Kanshinji Temple, Kakurinji Temple, and Shitennoji Temple for visits to the new 33 sacred sites in the western Japan. Although I see and feel them differently from the artist, they are each memorable temples for me as well.
Dainenbutsuji Temple was running a digital stamp rally with several temples in Osaka. If you enter the password written on the poster at each temple into the app, you can get the digital red seal of that temple. You don’t have to go to the temple to get the digital red seal, as long as you know the password, so I thought it was necessary to check the location with GPS.
Another temple in the book that I visited was Hirokawa Temple, which was the final resting place of Saigyo (Japanese famous ancient poet). When I went on a business trip to a university in that area, I took a short trip to visit it. I once took a group of international students studying in Japan to the Ise Shrine. At that time, I found on the Internet an English translation of a poem by Saigyo, “Nani goto no ohasimasu wo shiranedemo katajinasa ni namida koboru,” as an example of how Japanese people feel about Ise Shrine.
Since then, I have grown very fond of this song by Saigyo and have often used it in my lectures.I am not sure if it was written by him or not, but I have been holding my hands together towards the mound and expressing my gratitude for the day. (End)
“Un pèlerinage aux cent temples, tome 6 : Kansai” par Hiroyuki Itsuki, Kodansha Bunko.
J’ai déjà lu le premier volume, chapitre Nara, et les troisième et neuvième volumes, chapitre Kyoto, mais j’ai également lu le chapitre Kansai, qui visite les temples d’Osaka, Hyogo et Wakayama. Dix temples sont présentés : Koyasan, Seigantoji, Dojoji, Kokawadera, Kanshinji, Hirokawadera, Kakurinji, KameYama Hontokuji, Dainenbutsuji et Shitennoji.
Après avoir lu ce volume, je suis immédiatement allé visiter le temple Dainenbutsu-ji. J’ai découvert qu’il était situé à Hirano-ku, dans la ville d’Osaka, et comme je pouvais m’y rendre en descendant à la ligne JR sur mon chemin vers Nara depuis mon bureau, j’ai décidé de saisir l’occasion pour y aller. J’ai également vu la statue de Ryonin, le fondateur de la secte, que M. Itsuki m’avait présentée. La statue ne se trouve pas dans le hall principal mais dans une petite salle. C’est un temple paisible, mais je suis un peu inquiet car j’ai entendu dire qu’il y avait beaucoup de vols de statues bouddhistes de nos jours.
Je suis allé à Koyasan pour un événement organisé par une école primaire et un collège, au temple Seigantoji et au temple Kokawadera pour les 33 sites sacrés de l’ouest du Japon, et au temple Dojoji, au temple Kanshinji, au temple Kakurinji et au temple Shitennoji pour les visites des nouveaux 33 sites sacrés de l’ouest du Japon. Bien que je les voie et les ressente différemment de l’artiste, ce sont tous des temples mémorables pour moi aussi.
Le temple Dainenbutsuji organisait un rallye de timbres numériques avec plusieurs temples d’Osaka. Si vous entrez dans l’application le mot de passe inscrit sur l’affiche de chaque temple, vous pouvez obtenir le sceau rouge numérique de ce temple. Il n’est pas nécessaire de se rendre au temple pour obtenir le sceau rouge numérique, tant que l’on connaît le mot de passe. J’ai donc pensé qu’il était nécessaire de vérifier l’emplacement avec le GPS.
Un autre temple du livre que j’ai visité est le temple Hirokawa, qui était la dernière demeure de Saigyo (célèbre poète ancien japonais). Lorsque j’ai fait un voyage d’affaires dans une université de cette région, j’ai fait un court trajet pour le visiter. Une fois, j’ai emmené un groupe d’étudiants étrangers étudiant au Japon au sanctuaire d’Ise. À l’époque, j’ai trouvé sur Internet la traduction anglaise d’un poème de Saigyo, “Nani goto no ohasimasu wo shiranedemo katajinasa ni namida koboru”, pour illustrer ce que les Japonais pensent du sanctuaire d’Ise.
Je ne sais pas si elle a été écrite par lui ou non, mais j’ai tenu les mains jointes vers le monticule et exprimé ma gratitude pour cette journée. (Fin)
