白龍園

企業人が作った庭

皆さん白龍園と呼ばれる庭園をご存知でしょうか。私は烏賀陽百合さんの書籍を通じて初めて知りましたが、その写真を見て是非一度行ってみたいと思いました。春と秋に限定公開されるということで、その時を待っていました。

訪問時にいただいたパンフレットに作庭の歴史が載っていますのでご紹介します。「1962年に縁あってこの地一帯を手に入れた故 青野正一氏（青野株式会社の創業者）は、その地に伝わる歴史伝説と信仰を知り、けっして誉や利益のためではなく、ひたすら、この地に宿る史実と無数の魂を思い、祭壇の復元、整地と開発を決心したのでした。そして生涯をかけ、山を蘇らせ、現在の白龍園の原型を完成させました。」

例年になくゆっくり鑑賞できました

叡山電鉄の鞍馬行きに乗り、樹々が深くなってきたところで降りて徒歩で向かいます。当日は妻と行きました。駅から近かったので迷うことなく庭園入口を見つけることができました。例年、1日100名限定と聞いていたので、当日入れるかどうか心配していましたが、コロナの影響のため、訪問者は少なかったです。

苔が地表を覆っており、緑が多い印象です。坂道を登っていきますが、途中の平地に休憩所や峠の茶店のような赤い敷物を敷いた腰掛が置いてあり、雰囲気もいいです。今回は、大目に写真を載せておきます。

白龍神社の写真

更に上ると、白龍神社があります。お社は撮影禁止ですが、その周りが神秘的なくらいに苔と木々や草の緑に包まれて、神々しいです。企業人が心血注いで作った庭園を、楽しませていただきました。また、帰りは、入口の向かいにある茶店でお茶をいただいてから家に戻りました。（完）

Hakuryu-en Garden (Kyoto)

Have you ever heard of a garden called Hakuryuen? I first heard about it through a book written by Yuri Ugaya, and when I saw the pictures of it, I really wanted to visit. I was waiting for the time when it was open to the public for a limited period in spring and fall.

The history of the garden is described in the pamphlet we received when we visited. He was not doing it for honor or profit, but solely for the historical facts and countless souls that reside in this land, and decided to restore the altar, clear the land, and develop the land. He spent his life to revive the mountain and complete the prototype of the present Hakuryu-en (White Dragon Garden).”

We were able to appreciate the garden more slowly than in previous years.

We took the Eizan Electric Railway train to Kurama, got off when the trees were deepening, and headed there on foot. I went with my wife that day. It was close to the station so we could find the entrance to the garden without getting lost. I had heard that the garden is usually limited to 100 visitors per day, so I was worried if we could get in on the day, but due to the effects of Covid-19, there were only a few visitors.

Moss covers the ground, giving the impression of greenery. The path climbs up the slope, but there is a rest area on a flat area along the way and a sitting area with a red rug, like a tea stall on a mountain pass, which creates a nice atmosphere. This time, I have included a large number of photos.

Hakuryu Shrine Photo

Further up the mountain is the Hakuryu (White Dragon) Shrine. Photography is not allowed in the shrine, but the area around it is mystical and divine, surrounded by moss and the green of trees and grass. We enjoyed the garden, which was created by a businessman who poured his heart and soul into it. On our way back, we also had a cup of tea at the tea store across from the entrance before returning home. (End)

Jardin Hakuryu-en (Kyoto)

Avez-vous déjà entendu parler d’un jardin appelé Hakuryuen ? J’en ai entendu parler pour la première fois dans un livre écrit par Yuri Ugaya, et quand j’ai vu les photos, j’ai eu envie de le visiter. J’attendais le moment où il serait ouvert au public pour une période limitée au printemps et à l’automne.

L’histoire du jardin est décrite dans le dépliant que nous avons reçu lors de notre visite. Il ne le faisait pas pour l’honneur ou le profit, mais uniquement pour les faits historiques et les innombrables âmes qui résident dans cette terre, et a décidé de restaurer l’autel, de défricher le terrain et de le développer. Il a passé sa vie à faire revivre la montagne et à achever le prototype de l’actuel Hakuryu-en (jardin du dragon blanc).”

Nous avons pu apprécier le jardin plus lentement que les années précédentes.

Nous avons pris le train électrique d’Eizan jusqu’à Kurama, sommes descendus lorsque les arbres s’enfonçaient et nous y sommes allés à pied. J’y suis allé avec ma femme ce jour-là. C’était près de la gare, nous avons donc pu trouver l’entrée du jardin sans nous perdre. J’avais entendu dire que le jardin était habituellement limité à 100 visiteurs par jour, je m’inquiétais donc de savoir si nous pourrions y entrer ce jour-là, mais en raison des effets du Covid-19, il n’y avait que quelques visiteurs.

De la mousse recouvre le sol, donnant une impression de verdure. Le chemin grimpe la pente, mais il y a une aire de repos sur une zone plate le long du chemin et un coin salon avec un tapis rouge, comme un stand de thé sur un col de montagne, ce qui crée une atmosphère agréable. Cette fois, j’ai inclus un grand nombre de photos.

Plus haut dans la montagne se trouve le sanctuaire Hakuryu (dragon blanc). Il est interdit de photographier dans le sanctuaire, mais les alentours sont mystiques et divins, entourés de mousse et du vert des arbres et de l’herbe. Nous avons apprécié le jardin, qui a été créé par un homme d’affaires qui y a mis tout son cœur et toute son âme. Sur le chemin du retour, nous avons également pris une tasse de thé au magasin de thé situé en face de l’entrée avant de rentrer chez nous. (Fin)
