駅弁⑤ 米沢名物 牛肉弁当 “牛肉どまん中”

東京への往路で食べた駅弁が残念な結果に終わってしまったので、大阪への帰路は定番の美味しい駅弁にしようと、東京駅で米沢名物の牛丼弁当「牛肉どまん中」と隣のサラダ店でシーザーサラダを買い込みました。この駅弁お価格は税込で1,250円でした。今日は、珍しくオリオンビールを入手したので、車中でビールを楽しんだ後、駅弁を食べることにしました。

牛肉どまん中弁当を最初に食べたのは、ある旅行会社のツアーに参加して、東北を旅した時です。東京へ戻る電車が米沢を通るということで、添乗員さんが、あらかじめ、このお弁当を予約してくれていました。米沢駅から電車が発進したあと、妻と一緒に美味しく食べた記憶があります。

今回は、ビールを飲んで一寝入りしたあと、名古屋を通過てから弁当を開封しました。紙のパッケージを外すと、白米の上一面に広がる、お肉が印象的です。そぼろ上になったお肉、薄く小さなお肉が見えます。タレが染み込んでいて色が同じなので、何種類かの肉が乗っているようですが、見分けがつきにくいです。

それでも、一口食べると、それだけで幸せな気分になりました。大人になってから、肉そぼろのご飯を食べることはめっきり減りました。懐かしさと共に、風味の良さに嬉しくなりました添えられている蒲鉾や漬物も食べながら、完食しました。

50歳を超えたせいか、最近は薄味の食べ物をいただくことが多いのですが、その日は、しっかりとタレに使った肉を食べることが出来ました。電子レンジで温めて食べれば、さらに美味しいと思うので、次回は家庭用にお土産として買って帰りたいと思います。（完）

Shinkineya Ltd. Beef Domannaka Bento

Since the ekiben I had on the outbound trip to Tokyo was disappointing, I decided to have a standard delicious ekiben on the return trip to Osaka, so I bought a Yonezawa specialty, “Gyuuniku Domannaka” (beef bowl) bento and a Caesar salad at the salad store next door at Tokyo Station. This ekiben was priced at 1,250 yen including tax. Today, I unusually obtained Orion beer, so after enjoying the beer in the train, I decided to eat the ekiben.

The first time I tasted a Gyuniku Domannaka bento was when I traveled to Tohoku on a tour with a travel agency. The train back to Tokyo was going through Yonezawa, so the tour guide had reserved this bento for us in advance. After the train departed from Yonezawa station, my wife and I enjoyed the lunch together.

This time, after drinking beer and sleeping in, I opened the bento after passing through Nagoya. Upon removing the paper package, one was struck by the meat spread all over the white rice. You can see the meat (thin and small). It seemed that there were several kinds of meat on it, but it was difficult to distinguish them from each other because they were soaked in sauce and had the same color.

Still, every bite of it made me feel happy. As an adult, I rarely eat rice with minced meat. I finished the dish while eating the accompanying kamaboko and tsukemono pickles.

Perhaps because I am over 50 years old, I tend to get lighter foods these days, but on that day, I was able to eat the meat used in the sauce well. I think it would taste even better if I heated it up in the microwave, so next time I would like to buy some as a souvenir for home use. (End)

Comme l’ekiben que j’ai eu à l’aller à Tokyo était décevant, j’ai décidé d’avoir un délicieux ekiben standard au retour à Osaka. J’ai donc acheté une spécialité de Yonezawa, le bento “Gyuuniku Domannaka” (bol de bœuf) et une salade César au magasin de salades situé à côté de la gare de Tokyo. Le prix de cet ekiben était de 1 250 yens TTC. Aujourd’hui, j’ai exceptionnellement obtenu de la bière Orion, donc après avoir dégusté la bière dans le train, j’ai décidé de manger l’ekiben.

La première fois que j’ai goûté un bento Gyuniku Domannaka, c’était lors d’un voyage au Tohoku avec une agence de voyage. Le train de retour à Tokyo passait par Yonezawa, et le guide touristique nous avait donc réservé ce bento à l’avance. Après le départ du train de la gare de Yonezawa, ma femme et moi avons dégusté le repas ensemble.

Cette fois-ci, après avoir bu de la bière et fait la grasse matinée, j’ai ouvert le bento après être passé par Nagoya. En retirant l’emballage en papier, on est frappé par la viande étalée sur le riz blanc. Vous pouvez voir la viande (fine et petite). Il semblait qu’il y avait plusieurs sortes de viande dessus, mais il était difficile de les distinguer les unes des autres car elles étaient imbibées de sauce et avaient la même couleur.

Pourtant, chaque bouchée me rendait heureux. En tant qu’adulte, je mange rarement du riz avec de la viande hachée. J’ai fini le plat en mangeant les cornichons kamaboko et tsukemono qui l’accompagnaient.

Peut-être parce que j’ai plus de 50 ans, j’ai tendance à manger plus léger de nos jours, mais ce jour-là, j’ai pu bien manger la viande utilisée dans la sauce. Je pense qu’elle serait encore meilleure si je la réchauffais au micro-ondes, alors la prochaine fois, j’aimerais en acheter comme souvenir pour la maison. (Fin)
