阪急の創業者の元邸宅
何年か前に単発のテレビドラマにもなった阪急電鉄の創始者である小林一三氏の邸宅が記念館として公開されています。阪急の池田駅から北に向かって歩いて10分程度で到着します。途中、同氏が蒐集した美術品を所蔵する逸翁美術館の前を通りますので、帰りにでも立ち寄られることをお勧めしまし。
お茶を嗜まれた方でしたので、庭には茶室があり、そこも見学コースから中の様子を見ることができむす。レストランもありますので、落ち着いた雰囲気の中で豪華な料理を楽しむこともできます。
阪急創業に関する資料を展示
今回は、日本で学ぶ留学生たちに近代化を支えた起業家たちの話をするため、小林一三さんの足跡を学びに来ました。展示室には生前の写真や、企業にまつわるエピソードなどがパネル展示されています。開業当初の乗車券でしょうか、古い回数券なども展示されています。鉄道ファンにとっても面白い場所かもしれません。
小林一三さんは、鉄道を敷いただけではなく、沿線に建売住宅を建てて住宅ローンを取り入れたり、その住人に週末も電車に乗ってもらうと終着駅の大阪梅田にデパートを開業し、また、宝塚に遊戯施設を作ったりと、アイディアに溢れ、実行力のある方でした。こういうところは、是非、留学生たちに伝えたいと思いました。
戦後の復興担当大臣に就任
また、戦後すぐには、復興担当の大臣にも就任されました。彼は、日本人が歴史や伝統的な文化に誇りを持って、日本の再興を行うことをメッセージとして伝えていました。展示室は決して大きくはありませんが、彼の生き方が、凡庸に生きている自分に勇気を与えてくれました。（完）

Kobayashi Ichizo Memorial Hall
The residence of Kobayashi Ichizo, founder of Hankyu Corporation, which was the subject of a one-shot TV drama some years ago, is now open to the public as a memorial museum. Mr. Ichizo Kobayashi not only built the railroad, but also built houses for sale along the line, introduced mortgage loans, opened a department store in Umeda, Osaka, the terminal station, to encourage residents to take the train on weekends, and built a playground in Takarazuka. These are the kind of things I really wanted to pass on to the foreign students.

Salle commémorative Kobayashi Ichizo
La résidence de Kobayashi Ichizo, fondateur de Hankyu Corporation, qui a fait l’objet d’une série télévisée il y a quelques années, est désormais ouverte au public en tant que musée commémoratif. Il faut environ 10 minutes pour marcher vers le nord depuis la gare Hankyu Ikeda. Sur le chemin, vous passerez par le musée d’art Itsuo, qui possède une collection de ses œuvres d’art, nous vous recommandons donc de vous y arrêter sur le chemin du retour.
Comme il appréciait la cérémonie du thé, il y a une maison de thé dans le jardin, qui peut être vue depuis l’itinéraire de la visite. Il y a également un restaurant où vous pourrez déguster un repas somptueux dans une atmosphère détendue.
Cette fois, nous sommes venus découvrir les traces de M. Ichizo Kobayashi afin de parler aux étudiants étrangers qui étudient au Japon des entrepreneurs qui ont soutenu la modernisation du pays. Dans la salle d’exposition, des panneaux présentent des photos de sa vie et des épisodes liés à ses entreprises. D’anciens billets à coupon, datant peut-être des débuts de l’entreprise, sont également exposés. Cet endroit peut être intéressant pour les amateurs de chemins de fer.
M.
