近畿三十六不動尊1番
西国三十三霊場を始めとして、日本にもさまざまな巡礼があります。テーマを決めてお寺を巡っていくものですが、明治以降にできたものの方が多いようです。今回、近畿の不動明王をお祀りする36寺をめぐる巡礼があることを知り、近いところから巡っていくことにしました。
第一番目のお寺は、大阪の四天王寺。このブログでも既に２回紹介しているお寺です。皆さんも日本史の教科書で必ず習っているお寺です。四天王寺には池があって、そこには亀が沢山います。亀と四天王寺は縁が深く、亀井堂という建物の下には湧水が流れていて、その水を受けている石の形が亀の形をしています。それで、亀の井戸の御堂という意味の、亀井堂という名前なのでしょうか。
その隣に不動明王の祠が建っています。両脇にも石像があります。水掛け不動のようで、お参りに来た方がお水をかけてお祈りをしていました。下の写真では真ん中に鎮座されているのが亀井不動です。私の前にお参りに来られていた夫婦が、随分と長い時間お祈りをされていたので、しばらく後ろで待っていました。
石像自体は小さいのですが、よく見ると憤怒の形相をしており、立派な不動明王であることがわかります。私も石像に水をかけてからお祈りしました。難波の不動尊は水をかけられて全身がコケで覆われているのですが、こちらはそういうこともなく、ただ、濡れているだけです。さあ、残り３５ヶ所となりました。ゆっくりと巡っていきましょう。（完）

Kamei Fudo
There are various pilgrimages in Japan, including the 33 sacred sites in the western part of the country. These pilgrimages are to visit temples with a specific theme, but it seems that most of them were established after the Meiji period. This time, I learned that there is a pilgrimage to 36 temples enshrining Fudo Myoo in the Kinki region, and decided to start from the nearest one.
The first temple is Shitennoji in Osaka. This temple has already been introduced twice in this blog. You must have learned about this temple in your Japanese history textbooks. There is a pond at Shitennoji, where there are many turtles. There is a spring water flowing under the building called Kameido, and the stone that catches the water is shaped like a turtle. So, it is called “Kameido”, I think.
A shrine of Fudo Myoo stands next to it. There are also stone statues on both sides. It appears to be a mizukake-fudo, and visitors to the shrine were pouring water on it and praying. In the photo below, Kamei Fudo is seated in the center. The couple who came to pray before me had been praying for quite a long time, so I waited behind them for a while.
The stone statue itself is small, but if you look closely, you can see that it has an enraged expression and is a magnificent Fudo Myoo. I also prayed after sprinkling water on the stone statue. The Fudo statue in Namba is covered with moss after being sprinkled with water, but this one is not like that, just wet. Now, there are only 35 places left. Let’s go around slowly. (End)
Kamei Fudo
Il existe divers pèlerinages au Japon, notamment les 33 sites sacrés de la partie occidentale du pays. Ces pèlerinages ont pour but de visiter des temples ayant un thème spécifique, mais il semble que la plupart d’entre eux aient été établis après la période Meiji. Cette fois, j’ai appris qu’il y avait un pèlerinage vers 36 temples consacrant Fudo Myoo dans la région de Kinki, et j’ai décidé de commencer par le plus proche.
Le premier temple est le Shitennoji à Osaka. Ce temple a déjà été présenté deux fois dans ce blog. Vous avez dû apprendre l’existence de ce temple dans vos manuels d’histoire du Japon. Il y a un étang à Shitennoji, où il y a beaucoup de tortues. Une source d’eau coule sous le bâtiment appelé Kameido, et la pierre qui capte l’eau a la forme d’une tortue. Donc, on l’appelle “Kameido”, je pense.
Un sanctuaire de Fudo Myoo se trouve à côté. Il y a également des statues en pierre des deux côtés. Il semble que ce soit un mizukake-fudo, et les visiteurs du sanctuaire versaient de l’eau dessus et priaient. Sur la photo ci-dessous, Kamei Fudo est assis au centre. Le couple qui est venu prier avant moi priait depuis un bon moment, j’ai donc attendu derrière eux un moment.
La statue de pierre elle-même est petite, mais si vous regardez de près, vous pouvez voir qu’elle a une expression furieuse et qu’elle est un magnifique Fudo Myoo. J’ai également prié après avoir aspergé d’eau la statue de pierre. La statue de Fudo à Namba est couverte de mousse après avoir été aspergée d’eau, mais celle-ci n’est pas comme ça, juste humide. Maintenant, il ne reste plus que 35 places. Faisons le tour lentement. (Fin)
