近畿三十六不動尊 第4番
大阪市の南部に位置するお寺、京善寺は昔、金剛院と呼ばれていたそうですが、大阪夏の陣で消失し、その後、寺の名前を京善寺と改めて再建されたそうです。厄除けの不動尊をお祀りしており、「くわず不動」として親しまれ、多くの方がお参りに来られます。
お寺の入り口として２体の仁王像を納めた立派な仁王門が建っています。大阪市内にあるので、境内はそれほど広くなく、すぐに本堂が現れます。長閑な休日に訪問しましたが、近所もあまり人通りがなく、落ち着いた住宅街に存在していました。
本堂の外からお参りをしましたが、中にも入れるようなので、ご本尊を拝見するため本堂の中に入りました。お寺の住居部分と繋がっている様なので、本堂内では静かにして、ご本尊をお参りしました。お不動さんを拝見し、家族の健康を祈念して来ました。
本堂を出ると、ここでも、水掛け不動尊を発見しました。水掛け不動って、わりとポピュラーなんですね。どこの不動尊をお参りしても、水掛け不動尊を見かけるように思います。お不動さんのイメージとして、背後に煌々と赤い火が燃え上がっているシーンを想像するので、皆さん水でも掛けてお不動さんに過ごしやすく居てもらおうという意味でもあるのでしょうか。

Kyozenji Fudoson Pilgrimage

Kyozenji Temple, located in the southern part of Osaka City, used to be called Kongoin Temple, but was destroyed during the Osaka Natsu-no-jin (Osaka Summer War) and later rebuilt under the new name of Kyozenji Temple. The temple enshrines Fudo, a deity that protects people from bad luck, and is popularly known as “Kuwazu Fudo,” and many people come to visit the temple.
A magnificent Niomon gate containing two Niou statues stands as the entrance to the temple. Located in Osaka City, the precincts of the temple are not very large, and the main hall appears soon after. I visited on a long and quiet holiday, and the neighborhood was not very crowded, existing in a calm residential area.
I paid my respects from outside the main hall, but since visitors were allowed to go inside, I entered the main hall to see the principal statue of the Buddha. Since the main hall seemed to be connected to the residential part of the temple, I kept quiet inside the main hall and visited the main statue. I visited the Fudo-san and prayed for the health of my family.
As I left the main hall, I found another water-sprayed Fudo-san. I guess “Mizukake (water-sprayed) fudo” is rather popular. It seems that no matter where I visit, I will always find a water-sprayed Fudo-san. The image of Fudo-san is that of a red fire burning in the background, so perhaps it is meant to make it easier for people to spend time with Fudo-san by pouring water on him.
I have only just begun my pilgrimage tour of Fudo-san, but I would like to solve these questions by asking the temple staff. (End)
Pèlerinage à Kyozenji Fudoson

Le temple Kyozenji, situé dans la partie sud de la ville d’Osaka, s’appelait autrefois le temple Kongoin, mais il a été détruit pendant la guerre d’été d’Osaka (Osaka Natsu-no-jin) et reconstruit plus tard sous le nouveau nom de temple Kyozenji. Le temple consacre Fudo, une divinité qui protège les gens de la malchance, et est populairement connu sous le nom de “Kuwazu Fudo”, et de nombreuses personnes viennent visiter le temple.
Une magnifique porte Niomon contenant deux statues Niou constitue l’entrée du temple. Situé dans la ville d’Osaka, l’enceinte du temple n’est pas très grande, et le hall principal apparaît peu après. Je l’ai visité pendant de longues et tranquilles vacances, et le quartier n’était pas très fréquenté, existant dans une zone résidentielle calme.
J’ai présenté mes respects à l’extérieur du hall principal, mais comme les visiteurs étaient autorisés à entrer, je suis entré dans le hall principal pour voir la statue principale du Bouddha. Comme le hall principal semblait être relié à la partie résidentielle du temple, je suis resté tranquille à l’intérieur du hall principal et j’ai visité la statue principale. J’ai rendu visite au Fudo-san et prié pour la santé de ma famille.
En quittant le hall principal, j’ai trouvé un autre Fudo-san aspergé d’eau. Je suppose que le “Mizukake (water-sprayed) fudo” est plutôt populaire. Il semble que, quel que soit l’endroit où je me rends, je trouve toujours un Fudo-san aspergé d’eau. L’image de Fudo-san est celle d’un feu rouge qui brûle à l’arrière-plan, ce qui signifie peut-être qu’il est plus facile pour les gens de passer du temps avec Fudo-san en versant de l’eau sur lui.
Je viens juste de commencer mon pèlerinage à Fudo-san, mais j’aimerais résoudre ces questions en les posant au personnel du temple. (Fin)
