神武天皇の皇兄を祀った神社

この竈山神社は神仏霊場会の公式ガイドブックを読んで知った神社の１つです。神武天皇と共に東征に出て、この竈山で薨去された皇兄の彦五瀬命（ひこいつせのみこと）を祀っています。緑の樹々が生い茂る中にある静かな神社です。

鳥居の前に車を留めて、広い参道を歩いて神門に近づいていきます。開いた扉から拝殿が見えてきます。境内に入りましたが、人影が全くありません。神社の方もいないようです。妻と二人、拝殿に向かいます。

ここにも敷き詰められた紀州の青石

神門から拝殿に歩く道には、紀州の青石が贅沢に敷き詰められています。さすがに紀州です。目につく場所の主要な場所には紀州の青石を惜しげもなく使用しています。和歌山城しかり、和歌浦天満宮しかり、そしてこの竈山神社です。

清く正しく生きましょう

拝殿でお参りを済ませた後、拝殿の建物の横から本殿を見ました。本殿の建物の中までは見えませんが、拝殿とつながっている部分は見えます。外観だけですが、立派な建物の様です。帰りに御朱印をいただきましたが、受付には誰もおらず、書置きの御朱印の紙が置かれていました。お金を置いていくシステムです。硬貨が少し足りなかったのですが、御免なさいと、心の中で祈って、書置きの御朱印をいただいてきました。罰が当たったのか、帰路は案の定、道に迷ったり、右折禁止を見飛ばして罰金を取られたり、残念な結果となりました。（完）

Kamayama Shrine (Wakayama Prefecture)

Shrine dedicated to Emperor Jinmu’s imperial brother

This Kamayama Shrine is one of the shrines that I learned about from reading the official guidebook of the Shinto and Buddhist Sacred Sites Association. It enshrines Hikoitsuse-no-mikoto, an imperial brother who went with Emperor Jinmu on his expedition to the east and died here on this hearth mountain. This quiet shrine is located amidst lush green trees.

Park my car in front of the torii gate and walk along the wide approach to approach the shrine gate. Through the open door, the hall of worship comes into view. I entered the precincts of the shrine, but there was not a soul to be seen. There seemed to be no one at the shrine. My wife and I headed for the hall of worship.

Kishu bluestone laid down here as well.

The path from the shrine gate to the hall of worship is lavishly paved with blue Kishu stones. This is indeed Kishu. Kishu bluestone is used sparingly in major places where it is visible. Wakayama Castle, Wakaura Tenmangu Shrine, and this Kamayama Shrine.

Let’s live cleanly and righteously.

After praying at the hall of worship, I looked at the main shrine from the side of the building of the hall of worship. I could not see inside the main building, but I could see the part connected to the worship hall. Although it is only from the outside, it looks like a magnificent building. On the way back to the shrine, I asked for a red seal, but there was no one at the reception desk and a piece of paper with a red seal on it had been left for me to write on. The system is to leave money. I was a little short of coins, but I prayed in my heart, saying I was sorry, and received a red seal with a note on it. As expected, I got lost on the way back, missed a no-right-turn sign, and was fined. (End)

Sanctuaire de Kamayama (préfecture de Wakayama)

Sanctuaire dédié au frère impérial de l’empereur Jinmu

Le sanctuaire de Kamayama est l’un des sanctuaires dont j’ai entendu parler en lisant le guide officiel de l’Association des sites sacrés shintoïstes et bouddhistes. Il consacre Hikoitsuse-no-mikoto, un frère impérial qui a accompagné l’empereur Jinmu dans son expédition vers l’est et qui est mort ici, sur cette montagne du foyer. Ce sanctuaire tranquille est situé au milieu d’arbres verdoyants.

Je gare ma voiture devant la porte du torii et je marche le long de la large allée pour m’approcher de la porte du sanctuaire. Par la porte ouverte, on aperçoit la salle de culte. J’ai pénétré dans l’enceinte du sanctuaire, mais il n’y avait pas une âme à voir. Il semblait n’y avoir personne au sanctuaire. Ma femme et moi nous sommes dirigés vers la salle de culte.

La pierre bleue de Kishu a été posée ici aussi.

Le chemin qui mène de la porte du sanctuaire à la salle de culte est somptueusement pavé de pierres bleues de Kishu. Il s’agit bien de Kishu. La pierre bleue de Kishu est utilisée avec parcimonie dans les principaux endroits où elle est visible. Le château de Wakayama, le sanctuaire Tenmangu de Wakaura, et ce sanctuaire de Kamayama.

Vivons proprement et vertueusement.

Après avoir prié dans la salle de culte, j’ai regardé le sanctuaire principal depuis le côté du bâtiment de la salle de culte. Je ne pouvais pas voir l’intérieur du bâtiment principal, mais je pouvais voir la partie reliée à la salle de culte. Bien que ce ne soit que de l’extérieur, cela ressemble à un magnifique bâtiment. Sur le chemin du retour au sanctuaire, j’ai demandé un sceau rouge, mais il n’y avait personne à la réception et on m’avait laissé un morceau de papier avec un sceau rouge pour que je puisse écrire dessus. Le système consiste à laisser de l’argent. J’étais un peu à court de pièces, mais j’ai prié dans mon cœur, en disant que j’étais désolé, et j’ai reçu un sceau rouge avec une note dessus. Comme prévu, je me suis perdu sur le chemin du retour, j’ai manqué un panneau d’interdiction de tourner à droite et j’ai reçu une amende. (Fin)
